We were able to secure an incredible rate AND special access for our optional safari trip after the training. We got a deal from my friend living in Kenya - and booked the wonderful VOI Wildlife Lodge for our overnight stay.
It is priced like a tent, but its indoor luxury rooms … just for us. Dropping an upwards of $850+ price to $594 for a full 3-night, aftercare package.

DAY 1: August 23 -

Self-paced rest and reflection at Fumbeni House - beachfront at Kilifi.

DAY 2: August 24 -
-
Depart around 06:00.
-
The road to Tsavo East Park is red dirt and we will cross the largest forest in Kenya and typical African villages. First stop at Crocodile Point, where we will admire the crocodiles in the Galana River and the monkeys.

Enter the park around 10:00.
-
Dive into with the 1st Game Drive until lunchtime in search of animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, zebras and many others that live in the African savannah.

Arrive at lodging around 13:00.

Check‐in, rest, relax, dip in the pool, and enjoy the wide array of the lunch buffet.

Begin the next game drive around 15:45

Departure for the 2nd game drive until sunset.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. (Optional steam room and massages).

DAY 2: ACCOMMODATIONS -

The spacious, shared rooms offer African decor and are equipped with a fan and mosquito nets.

The private bathrooms are stocked with top of the line toiletries.
The delicious Tembo Restaurant serves International and vegetarian cuisine. The bar offers up close views of a nearby waterhole - so you still feel like you are in the park.
Massages and beauty treatments can be arranged at the spa, which has five treatment rooms, a steam bath and hot tub.

Tsavo East can be hot and dry, especially during the dry season. Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated throughout your safari. (Water will be provided during the game drives, and meals but not otherwise).

DAY 3: August 25 -

Enjoy breakfast 06:30

Depart at 07:00 we leave for the last game drive, in search of other animals.

Afterward, we return to the beach house.
-
On the way back, if you have brought clothing or food, we can stop to give them to the families and children we meet.

We typically return in time for you to enjoy lunch at your hotel. ✨
THE SAFARI FEE INCLUDES:

All transfers on board 4×4 jeeps with panoramic opening roof for photo safaris;

Tsavo East Park Entrance Ticket;

Overnight stay in lodge/camp with all-inclusive treatment (excluding drinks with meals);

Bottled mineral water during all game drives;

Authorized local guide with regular license;

Professional local driver qualified for safari driving (in high season the driver and the guide may coincide);

Full safari coverage insurance (replacement vehicle, rescue service, etc.)

SAFARI TIPS:
